June 30th - July 1st, 2012The Historic Cambridge group is holding their 2nd annual Heritage Days in Cambridge. The location of their event will be held at the Middle School in Cambridge. They will be using the entire back of the Nikolay Middle School grounds. They will also need space within the Historic School. More information can be found at their website.
Nov. 6th, 2011Dear Editor, I am writing to encourage all veterans and community members to attend a program on Sunday Nov. 6th, 2011 at 1 p.m. to recognize area veterans both living and dead. The program in the Cambridge historic school will include a presentation on and by featured Cambridge veterans. Any veterans who attend will be given the chance to say a few words about their service, if they so choose. This is a great opportunity to see the veterans’ room displays created by the Cambridge Historic School foundation and the prominent WWII quilt recently acquired by the Koshkonong Prairie Historical Society from the Richard Wolf family. Local cable will film the program, so please attend, share stories, and help us pay tribute and preserve this important part of our local history. Mary Gjermo, Chair
11/01/2011The Cambridge Historic School Foundation has done some rearranging yet again this year and the Veterans have their own room for the displays that we have. We are always looking for more items to show and display, so if you or someone that you know would like to donate any of their military items, we would love to put them on display. Thank you.
